David Selden

Founder and Principal Advisor

David is focused on guiding clients toward their dream retirement by creating well-thought-out financial strategies.

David got his start in the industry in 1986 and most recently served as a regional manager in the retiree health insurance industry. During that time, he noticed many of his clients were exposed to much more investment risk than they realized and weren’t aware of the variety of threats they faced. Now, as the leader of his firm, David uses his experience and desire to help others to aid clients in creating confidence in retirement.

David passed the Series 65 exam and holds life, accident and health Insurance licenses, is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). David also has a bachelor’s degree in ministry and completed some graduate work from Master’s International School of Divinity and Theological Seminary.

While working with Dean Witter in the ’90s, David received a Certificate in Asset Allocation from The Broyles Institute. He was also an advisory board member for the magazine formerly known as Senior Market Advisor, to which he contributed his financial insights.

In his free time, David enjoys outdoor activities, community service and the company of his family.
